Compact Precision at Production Pace

The ML-360 is a compact linear way CNC turning center in the 8-inch chuck class: Φ360 mm maximum machining diameter, 470 mm of machining length, and a spindle reaching 4,500 rpm through a Φ62 mm bore. It is built for the everyday core of precision turning: fittings, bushings, connectors, and shaft parts that need speed and repeatability more than mass. The 30-degree bed keeps chips clearing, and the linear ways keep traverse and positioning quick between cuts.

The ML-360Y: Y-Axis in the Same Compact Class

The ML-360Y variant adds ±40 mm of Y-axis travel on a 60-degree bed, with C-axis and live tooling as standard. Small parts carrying flats, cross-holes, and eccentric features are finished in the same chucking as the turning, keeping the tolerance stack in one setup. The Y-axis architecture concentrates its working envelope around small-diameter work, which is exactly where off-center features on compact parts live.

ML-360 or Its Siblings?

Need more machining diameter in the same chuck class? The ML-560 family shapes the envelope around short, dense parts, and the ML-600 family opens the path to sub-spindle configurations. Tough materials at this size? The BML-500 starts the box way side (see: Box Way vs Linear Way).

Q: What is the maximum machining length of the ML-360?

A: 470 mm with the standard 8-inch chuck, or 460 mm with the optional 10-inch chuck, with a Φ360 mm maximum machining diameter and a 4,500 rpm spindle.

Q: What is the difference between the ML-360 and the ML-360Y?

A: The ML-360Y adds ±40 mm of Y-axis travel on a 60-degree bed, with C-axis and live tooling as standard, for off-center milling, drilling, and tapping in the same chucking. The ML-360 is the turning-focused version, with live tooling available as an option.

Q: When should I step up to the ML-560 or ML-600 family?

A: When parts need a different envelope shape or an upgrade path. The ML-560 family shapes capacity around short, dense parts; the ML-600 family carries the 10-inch chuck path and the sub-spindle configurations.
