The MH-400 PLUS Horizontal Machining Center is Ingenious Machinery’s high-speed compact HMC, designed for manufacturers who need rapid metal removal combined with precision angular positioning in a smaller footprint. With a 400×400mm working table and 400kg load capacity, the MH-400 PLUS is optimized for small-to-medium complex components requiring multi-face machining.

A key differentiator of the MH-400 PLUS is its direct-drive spindle option, offering up to 15,000 rpm — compared to the belt-driven standard at 12,000 rpm. The direct-drive configuration delivers higher rotational accuracy, lower thermal generation, and reduced maintenance requirements, making it ideal for high-speed precision milling of aluminum, titanium, and hardened steel components. The radial-type 40-tool ATC ensures compact tool storage with fast chip-to-chip times.

The dual automatic pallet changer (APC) maintains continuous production, while the 0.001° B-axis minimum indexing supports precise multi-angle positioning. Maximum workpiece envelope of Ø550mm diameter and 800mm height, within 550/510/630mm (X/Y/Z) travel, accommodates a wide range of complex parts.
